Seth Godin posted a super engaging blog post today. It asks us to view the limits we place on ourselves. “Oh, I could never do that” or “That person just knows how to do that thing better than I will ever know how to.” The fact is, those limits are only in our heads. And just like Seth says, we have all done that thing before. That thing that we think we can’t do, but secretly wish we could do as our livelihood.
We’ve made people laugh, we’ve said something interesting, we’ve created something other’s think is worth sharing, and so all we need is to learn how to do that thing more often.
Seth’s post inspired me so much that I felt I had to share it, so I encourage you to read Seth’s full post called “Not Even Once?”
